Camp Lawton: A Civil War Prisoner of War Camp

Magnolia Springs State Park - Millen, GA
Join us at Camp Lawton History Center as we get outdoors beyond barriers and learn about the Civil War history of Magnolia Springs. We will hike to the spring that provided essential drinking water to over 10,000 prisoners in late 1864 and learn of their struggle for survival. Admission to the History is included. Parking fee required. 478-982-1660.
