Skidaway Island State Park - Savannah, GA
Children from 6 to 12 are invited to join park rangers for a fun week of hikes, crafts, games, living history, and more focused on the natural and cultural heritage of Georgia. Each child will receive a Junior Ranger vest and hat and will complete activities to earn a Junior Ranger badge. $275 plus $5 parking. 912-598-2300.

Master Naturalist

Smithgall Woods State Park - Helen, GA
This is an adult environmental educational program in cooperation with the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry. This course is 8 weeks long and involves both classroom lectures as well as hands-on activities. The curriculum consists of 48 hours of instruction taught by state and local experts in the natural and environmental sciences. $285 plus $5 parking. 706-878-4707.
