Come get started with your New Year’s resolutions; by joining us on a pet-friendly ranger-led hike. On the hike we will explore the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps and Alexander H. Stephens. We will meet at Lake Liberty, which is located in front of our park office. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes. $5 plus $5 parking. 706-456-2602.

Kick off the New Year hiking a trail at our Park. A Ranger led hike will be at 10 am and last until we are off the trail. We will meet and leave from the Park Office. If you would like a shorter hike, feel free to go on a self-led hike on the squirrel run or the on straight through the Mill House where the gopher tortoise burrows are located. $5 parking. 478-763-2759.

Join the Ranger at Hamburg State Park for our First Day Hike. We will walk the Red Trail and discuss the history of Hamburg State Park, while enjoying some picturesque lake front views of the Hamburg Grist Mill. Please dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sturdy shoes. $3 plus $5 parking. 478-552-2393.
