Spring Clean-Up

Kolomoki Mounds State Park - Blakely, GA
Grab some gloves and come help us spruce up some areas in the park. The weather is getting nice and the park is filling up with visitors. Help us with various task from pruning limbs on the trails, putting up new trail blazes, replacing boards on bridges etc. Meet at the visitor center. Water and tools will be supplied. Closed toe shoes required. $5 parking. 229-724-2150.

Bunnies, Baskets and Eggs

Mistletoe State Park - Appling, GA
Come join us for a day of Easter fun. Participants will make a basket and hunt for eggs on the bunny trail. When trail is completed, they will receive a bag of candy. We will have outdoor Easter games to play and the nature center will be open. Registration is required. We will register guests in 15 minutes intervals to avoid overcrowding. $5 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.

Goofy Golf Games

Mistletoe State Park - Appling, GA
We are embracing Masters week. Grab a scorecard and let the games begin. Participants will do a variety of activities to score points in this goofy golf challenge. Throw a hole in one at corn hole, score in ladder golf, birdy in frisbee golf, putt in golf croquet and find the flag in our golf ball scavenger hunt. Complete the score card and win. $4 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.

Are you afraid of snakes? Do you know the difference between a reptile and an amphibian? These questions will be answered in this program. Join our naturalist as we explore the world of reptiles. We will share shells, bones and a live snake as we learn about reptiles in Georgia. We will go on a short hike in search of those radical reptiles. $4-$7 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.

Enjoy a day of volunteering with the staff and the "Friend's of Victoria Bryant State Park" we will be working towards beautifying and managing our forest.
