The ruins were burnt down in 1864 during the American Civil War and sparked a fascinating mystery. Learn about the complex history of this site on this ranger led history hike. Dan Llewellyn, a resident astronomer of the Deerlick Astronomy Village, will be lecturing about the scientific contributions and images that are produced in the village.
