On New Year’s Day, Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites will once again kick off the New Year with the statewide First Day Hike tradition! Two unique hikes will be offered at Amicalola Falls State Park, starting at 9:30am and 12:00pm. A Birds of Prey Show at 11am in the Arch Room of Visitor's Center caps off this great day. $5 parking. 706-344-1515.
