Learn about one of the most simple and effective historic tools used taking down small game: The blowgun! Blowguns were often the first weapon given children to teach basic hunting skills! Sky fishing is a fun way to see night-time insects in a new light. A sheet with a light shining on it will be put up by Picnic Shelter 4. Nocturnal insects, like moths, are attracted to the light and land on the sheet, which allows us to get a closer look at how nocturnal insects have adapted to living in the dark. We're heading into the night to learn about the things we can't normally see. We'll hunt for scorpions by using provided UV flash lights.
